This set features a combination that will have been available for a very limited period in 1963/4. It is the deep green Land Rover, coupled with a red 102 Pony trailer which has shaped fixed wheels and a solid drawbar. Nearly all of the red Pony Trailers had smooth wheels with the wire drawbar. Just a few late editions had a fixed drawbar with shaped wheels.
The Land Rover has good paintwork, played with but not badly worn. It has good windows and suspension, tyres etc. One corner of the front bumper has broken off. The Land Rover is the edition which has short bars on the roof plate.
The Pony Trailer has a few small chips but very little wear and looks bright. The small piece representing a stand on the drawbar has broken off and there is no pony included with this set. This is a scarce trailer with the shaped wheels and fixed drawbar.
