A fine example of this model with an original box in good condition, just some crushing at one end. This is the scarce 405 in red, not the Mechanical version 405M. Most UK models were green but red was used for export in the main.
Rare to find these in pristine condition and with an original box in either colour.
All entirely original with a black ladder. The red paintwork is unmarked and fresh and the Fire Dept (not AFS) transfers nice and clean and complete. The roof mounting is undamaged and the ladder fits nicely.
The box is the early edition 'blue' style and is complete. There is a little writing on a couple of faces and one end has some crushing but it remains quite fresh. There are two puncture marks from the ladder bracket that have been made at some time but these could be pressed back to make them barely noticeable.
Not to be confused with 423 which was the later single screen model.
A rare item.
