The Corgi Classics from 1964/6 were very pretty and beautifully detailed but simply did not appeal to many collectors at that time. They couldn't be whizzed around the carpet or parked easily in your Bayko garage and were very easily damaged too.
This one was especially vulnerable with its tall and very thin screen but better protected than some by its roof. Here is a lovely example in blue but without the handle chap. It looks like new and there are only very minimal (if any) chips to the paintwork and the interior is fresh and clean.
A really nice example.
