From the Wilford collection.
Samples for a proposed 680 series of Stunt Motorcycles. Model 681, an issued example of which is also included in this sale, was made available for dealers to order for a few months in 1972.
The bike would be mounted on a plastic base, weighted to keep it stable and fitted with four Whizzwheels for use on tracks sold at the time.
The other two models appear to use several Britains parts (but with brass coating instead of red-brown paint in one instance) and the tyres on the three samples (but not the issued one) all bear the Britains name!
This was not the most successful of Corgi's ideas. Very few were sold and this is now a rare item to find as issued, never mind the possibly unique set of samples available here.
