Corgi made a good job of reviving the Impala which was one of the longest-running models in all its production. They produced this by slicing the old one in half horizontally and inserting a nice chrome piece which then provided shiny front and rear ends.
This is a nice example with very few marks or signs of being played with. The beacon is there and the original bonnet transfer too. The windows are also clean and clear and the suspension sound. The wheels are exceptionally clean and shiny - often the cast type go quite dull and grey.
The side decals are missing but replacements for these can be obtained quite easily.
A nice model, cheap as surplus to requirements.
