A rare model which was only issued in early Farm Gift Sets 22. It is the first example of a green Land Rover, either a 406S or 438, and in a quite distinct shade of green that I all 'farm green', much lighter than the deep or dark green for the later boxed issue and the model used in later sets. This would have been produced only for a short period in 1962-3 and examples are very hard to find now.
In the set it was attached to a yellow flatbed trailer, similarly rare but that did continue to be partnered with the later Land Rover.
This example is well worn but all original. It is missing a hook but that is an easy fix. The windows are a bit dirty and there is a small crack in one pane. The suspension is good.
I also have other examples with the yellow trailer but this one is for sale as it stands.
