Not the most exciting model, I suppose, but quite a good example of a fairly scarce one. This is the Mk2 type with the single front screen.
This particularly example has reversed wheels compared to the most commonly seen flat hubs. It is one of the later ones with quite a bit of missing paint and the red cross decals are worn but easily replaced if necessary.
It’s an odd old model but sort of lovable in a way.
I never had any of these as a child. This was only produced from 1961 to 1963, the last of the long range of Bedford CA vans. It seems very old style, with its tin base and no interior when you look at what else would also have been new in the shop at that time.
