This is 335 with Whizzwheels and Corgi economised further by closing the doors and if the seats used to tilt they don’t any more. Well, they might as I think te interior is unchanged but, of course, you would now have trouble resetting them if you did push them down!
The wing mirrors are still there and all the lovely detail of the original but the exhaust is now black plastic.
Although a very popular model, you will not find many in 4.2 form because this came in June 1970 but just three months later Corgi started producing the 5.3 litre version which is considerably different.
There are red and yellow versions - both difficult to find in good condition. This is the noticeably scarcer yellow one and is in good condition, with just a few small marks to the yellow paintwork and some wear to the chrome. The rear window has been replaced and there is a small glue mark on this.
Amusingly, the transfers for the 4.2 model were in white so, of course, they are almost impossible to read on yellow! This has the original in place.
This is one of the earliest editions of this model, as indicated by the 'pepper pot' style Whizzwheels which are all in good condition.
