This has to be the best example of this 1958 model that I have seen - it is absolutely immaculate and came from someone who also had the Standard Vanguard in similar condition from the Rocket Age Gift Set. There is, therefore, no box for this but it has nevertheless survived remarkably to date.
There is an original RAF roundel on the front and, correctly, none on the back.
The tin canopy is totally unmarked and correctly folded.
The wheels are the early smooth type and have what appear to be original tyres.
The base is clean and has no sign of age as many tin bases do now.
