A very rare and sought after model. This is all original apart from the transfers which are replacements. The paintwork is good but has some chips from being played with. The windows are clean and clear and the suspension sound.
This was available to buy by mail order, featured in a leaflet issued to members of the Corgi Collectors Club in the summer of 1967. It was not included in a catalogue but there are no records of the numbers sold. They were only few, however, compared to most of their issues and, whilst they are fairly easy to find, they always command very high prices.
The jewels are original too. It is a fair-priced example if you would like to fill a space and these are always in demand.
It comes with a reproduction box which is quite good but close examination shows that it is printed on white card.
