Although this Rally edition was only issued for a short time in 1967 it can be found in several variations. It can have either the Austin or Morris badge and normal shaped or later cast louvre wheels, making each individual model quite scarce and expensive now. Its sister 'Sun International Rally' model, the Rover 2000 in white with a black bonnet and a revised front bumper, had only the single variant but is also very expensive now due to so few being made.
This example is the Morris badged edition with cast wheels, likely to have been one of the later issues. It has signs of playwear and the original decals have been replaced. The four jewelled fog lamps are all original and in good condition. The two headlamps have been replaced. The windows are clean and clear with no damage and the suspension is sound.
It's a tidy little Mini that is missing from many collections.
