Quite a short life-span for the first Corgi Capri. Just a couple of years from 1970 for this and #303 a white Roger Clark version with a black bonnet. Then a Texaco rally version in all white appeared and was around a bit longer.

A very nice example of a later edition of the Ford Capri. Most models issued in this dramatic colour were early ones with red spot 'Whizzwheels' and fewer were fitted with the ubiquitous black and silver things which replaced them.
Some listings seem to infer that it is the red spot wheels that are the rare ones but this isn't the case for this model. There are many dubious red spot editions advertised anyway. It is a pity, I suppose, that they are easy to change and some people have done so.
This has beautiful, unmarked paintwork and doors which open and close evenly. The headlamp jewels are in place and the plastic lights remain in place at the back. the windows are very clean and free of scratches and cracks. The base is pristine and the whole vehicle is original and almost as new.
