One of the original series issued in 1956, the Austin Healey had a long life. In fact it did not disappear from catalogues until 1965 and this has resulted in it getting shaped wheels at some point in the early 1960s. I don't know when and these are not uncommon but certainly fewer have shaped wheels than the original smooth wheels.
I also wonder whether we might not encounter a free wheel version one day!
This came in red and cream and a very rare blue. This example is beautiful. The apintwork is really good, probably one of the nicest I have encountered. The screen is original and clean and the steering wheel, another component often found damaged, is excellent.
This is an edition that is highly recommended and often missing from collections.
