This is a frustrating model! It is, underneath, a rare blue issue but someone has decided to tidy it up with a fresh coat of a brighter blue as well as making the dashboard, seats and steering wheel look more realistic and adding a brighter silver plus detailing here and there too.
They've done a good job but it has spoilt a rare original. The base is intact and has not been removed and there is the right shade of blue under the wheel arches and in less accessible places.
If you would like an original blue then this could display well until one comes along that hasn't been 'restored'. It's difficult to price and is worth more than a typical repaint because of the intact base and genuine original colour.
The wheels and tyres are all good and there is just a little rust on the base. I have added a replacement screen which was missing. I have also added more photos to show the original paint underneath.
