Everyone knows about this one! It's the Aston Martin in gold which really put Corgi out in front and took the world by storm when it was issued. I am sure almost every boy in Britain had one for Christmas in 1965 or for a birthday in 1966!
Millions were sold and so you will see plenty for sale but no that many are still in good condition. They did tend to get played with a lot and the features often stop working and the suspension, relying upon brittle old plastic may have failed. This example, however is excellent. The features all work well and the paintwork is largely unmarked apart from some scratches on the roof.
This is a later edition which has no small sidelights in the casting, so that is smooth beneath the headlamps.
The windows are all clean and clear with no cracks. There is no baddie with this one at the moment.
As this is a nice example I may well obtain a replacement box and baddie character and revise this listing but until that comes along it is sold as it stands.
