This is a very scarce model. It is the bronze Hillman Imp but with two jewelled fog lamps and with the later 'Sunbeam Imp' style windscreen that has two horizontal lines.
This will have been one of a small batch made when the #328 model was discontinued to be replaced by the 340 which had a different base. Instead of a metallic blue finish with Monte Carlo transfers it gets the bronze paintwork and will have been part of a Car Transporter Gift Set 41 or 48 in mid-1967.
It is an extremely scarce item and so not cheap as it is currently in my own collection.
You can see that this has some signs of wear but the paintwork is generally very good, the screens clear and it is all original. The suspension, as is so often the case with these models, was poor so I have made a simple repair by inserting a piece of rubber above the axle. The base has not been touched, nor anything changed otherwise.
