This is a repainted model, the original having suffered much wear and not very well touched up in many places. I don't usually 'restore' models as it is difficult to match the colour but this time it is fairly straightforward. It happens to be one of my favourite models in the first issue 230 with steering and now looks nice an clean and tidy. It even has an intact emblem on the radiator. That is often missing these days!
So I am not trying to pretend this is original - I just like to try to keep good models in circulation and hope they'll be appreciated in someone's collection one day.
It is not expensive and looks great on display. Good suspension, screens and tyres. A spare wheel is included in the price.
