Some time in the mid to late 60s a game was created by Fernel which featured a track around which a Corgi Morris Mini-Minor would be pulled by a device under the board which fitted in to a hole in teh base of the car.

There were two versions of the game - an East African Safari edition, in which the Morris had the same sticker on its bonnet as was applied to a VW1200 and a Monte Carlo edition in which a variety of Rally transfers appear to have been used, ranging from the Sunbeam Imp 117 decal to the crossed flags that this one has.

The doors have a simple white circular sticker bearing a number. these were supplied with the game and people could add whichever they chose from the pack.

Very few of the games have survived and most have parted company with the cars but they do appear from time to time and are usually sought-after by a collector who may have the game but lacks one or more cars for it.

This is a genuine model from the game and in pretty good condition. The screens are intact and the suspension and wheels are good. There is some wear to the maroon paintwork but not a lot.

A scarce item.
