Here is something a little special. It is a yellow Austin Seven but it has a Morris Mini-Minor base in the same colour! I wasn’t sure how to list this as the bottom reads Morris Mini-Minor as for a 226 model but it is essentially an Austin and the yellow is a known variety for 225.
I guess this has been a factory error with someone having a couple of different bases to choose from and everything fits so no-one noticed.
As with another yellow 225 that I had a while ago, this is totally devoid of suspension - it isn’t broken, there simply aren’t any suspension wires! Clearly a bad day at the office for someone.
This will, I am sure, be of interest to those who like to collect the odd mistakes and items that are a bit different. It is totally original and the paintwork is not at all bad. The wheels are fresh and clean and the tyres are in good condition too. The front screen is cracked but this is a cheerful, and most unusual, little car to have on display.
