This is a scarce edition of the popular Aston Martin DB4. Finished in red with free-spinning wheels this is also the version with an ivory interior, a distinctly lighter and more grey shade than the usual bright yellow. Whilst the yellow can fade in sunlight, this model shows the different colour underneath too, when viewed through a rear wheel arch.
This has the later type of base with no number and the later style of closed bonnet vent too.
The paintwork shows that the model has been played with and is the deeper shade of red found in the later editions but it is all original. There may be some corrosion on the metal below in places, resulting in some roughness to the finish on the bonnet and roof but there has been no touch-ins or repainting anywhere.
The windows are clean and free from scratches or cracks and the suspension is sound, with good original tyres.
The base is like new, very clean and unmarked, with bright wheels.
