A very nice example of this model, available for only a short time in 1959, the last of the M models with a friction motor.
This has always been one of my favourites as my dad had a red Countryman version of the Austin A40 with a fully opening rear. I had to buy a two-tone blue 216 and paint it red because the 216M had been discontinued when I started collecting.
This is one of many examples that I have available and has working motor, very clean windows and really nice paintwork. There are one or two chips, the most noticeable being two on the offside but this is a very nice-looking model.
The wheels and tyres are good and the base is clean.
