A very good example of this model, available for only a short time in 1959, the last of the M models with a friction motor.
This has always been one of my favourites as my dad had a red Countryman version of the Austin A40 with a fully opening rear.
This has a working motor which is very important as the base would have to be removed to repair it. It has clean windows and nice original paintwork. There are one or two chips from pay wear but it displays well. The roof has several marks which show up clearly with the red paint beneath.
The wheels and tyres are good and the base is clean.
It is a nice, all original example of a model that is hard to find in working order now.
