A very good example of this model, available for only a short time in 1959, the last of the M models with a friction motor.
This has always been one of my favourites as my dad had a red Countryman version of the Austin A40 with a fully opening rear.
This has a working motor which is very important as the base would have to be removed to repair it. It has the tiniest of marks on the front screen but otherwise very clean windows and really nice paintwork. There are one or two minor marks but the bumpers and grille silver paint is excellent. The roof has several marks which show up clearly with the red paint beneath.
The wheels and tyres are good and the base is like new.
It is a nice, all original example and one of the best I have at present (apart from another with an original box but far more expensive).
