Here is a scarce item - the beautifully engineered Bristol Bloodhound Missile on a Launching Ramp in the 1108 issue box. This was also available in some Gift Sets and sales of the individual item were low, with this being withdrawn barely a year after it was issued in October 1958.
This is a super example of the Missile with white fins and all the RAF decals are in place too. It has minimal signs of wear only and is all original apart from the nose cone.
The Launching Ramp is excellent too and, again, has no signs of playwear and operates correctly with the khaki base also being detachable.
The box is nicely illustrated and the lid is complete but a bit misshapen, possibly from damp at some stage. The base section has been made as an interim measure until I could find a good original. Until one arrives the set is sold as it stands and is shown.
This all looks very good on display as you'll appreciate from the photos and is a rare find.
