Some collections begin with a single model on a shelf. Ours began with a passion that has never left — the unmistakable weight of a die-cast Corgi in the hand, the glint of original paint under good light, and the quiet thrill of knowing exactly what you are holding.

A Collector's Foundation

Corgi.Toys was founded by a lifelong collector and dealer with decades of experience in the vintage die-cast market. My focus is Corgi models produced between the 1950s and 1970s — the golden era of British die-cast manufacturing, when Corgi set the standard for detail, innovation, and craftsmanship.

This is not a general toy shop. I am a specialist (and a collector!) Every piece in the inventory has been personally selected, examined, and verified before it is offered for sale.

The models are acquired from private collectors, estate sales and specialist auctions across the United Kingdom and beyond. I do not buy in bulk from unknown sources. Each acquisition is considered individually — its provenance, its condition, its originality — before it joins the inventory.

Authentication & Condition Grading

Every model I list has been assessed against the following criteria:

• Originality: I identify and disclose any repainting, restoration, or replacement parts. A model described as original is original — no exceptions.
• Paint & Decals: I note the precise condition of paintwork and transfers, including any chips, fading, or wear consistent with age.
• Mechanical Condition: Where applicable — suspension, windows, opening features — I test and report function accurately.
• Boxed Models: I describe box condition honestly, including any fading, tears, or price stickers.
