Whizzwheels look a lot better in this style but it took a while for Corgi to make the change as this was not issued until 1972. It stayed in the catalogue right through to 1979, however, and was a popular model that was attractive and well-made in comparison to some from the later period. Later models have a wheel with a larger chrome area and blue interior.
The blue colour is the most common, although there are some variations over the long production period. I also have a white and rare metallic green edition as well as an example of a later edition in metallic blue.
This one is good with few signs of playwear. The paintwork is lovely and the chrome has survived well. The windows are clean and clear and the doors and bonnet open and close nicely.
Recommended at a reasonable price.
