This is 335 with Whizzwheels and Corgi economised further by closing the doors and if the seats used to tilt they don’t any more.

The wing mirrors are still there and all the lovely detail of the original but the exhaust is now black plastic.

Although a very popular model, you will not find many in 4.2 form because this came in June 1970 but just three months later Corgi started producing the 5.3 litre version which is considerably different.

There are red and yellow versions - both difficult to find in good condition. This is the noticeably scarcer yellow one and is in beautiful condition, as new except for a tiny mark on one door and rubbing to the roof. there is a blemish on the bonnet but that looks like a factory flaw. Rarely on this model do you find complete and undamaged chrome. This one is excellent, really nice.

Amusingly, the transfers for the 4.2 model were in white so, of course, they are almost impossible to read on yellow! This has the original in place. There is a feint scratch to the rear window but only noticeable at certain angles.

This is one of the earliest editions of this model, as indicated by the 'pepper pot' style Whizzwheels which are all in good condition.
