This is an interesting model, a late issue from Corgi in 1973 with the better design of Whizzwheels that look good. The normal 329 issue had racing decals on the doors, bonnet and roof and upper rear wing sections but this is a scarce example with none at all.
It is unlikely that this had decals in the first place as they are made of paper and, as anyone who has wanted to remove some old ones may have experienced, the adhesive remains on the paintwork and seems to turn into super-glue if exposed to the air for long! I cannot imagine anyone having much success replacing them without serious damage to the paint surface.
It is more likely that the Quality Control Manager was outside with a cigarette (and maybe the assistant Quality Control Manager too) late one Friday and this escaped their notice.
The doors open nicely and the dark yellow interior is in good condition with clean and clear windows.
The suspension is sound and wheels bright and attractive. The chrome rear is unmarked, as is the bright white base on this model.
