This is the second issue of the Impala in Fire Chief role. This new version has been cleverly given new life by splitting the body horizontally and adding a lovely chrome element which provides grille, bumper and rear bumper as well as an impressive side chrome feature.
This is an excellent example with stickers on the doors that are original and both intact. there is also an original aerial which will often be missing or broken now, as well as the blue beacon on the roof.
The paintwork is great with just a few marks from being played with, mostly on the roof.
It is the later edition with cast wheels which are probably the more common as this stayed in production from 1966 to 1969.
