The Land Rover Breakdown Truck was a long-running model, first appearing as 417 and then getting suspension as 417S and then a plastic cover replacing the tin as 477. This is a 417S with the later style of closed jib. This is a super example.
The paintwork is very good, showing just a few marks on corners and the roof bars and the transfers now look aged.
The bodywork is sound and this has good suspension with clean wheels and tyres. The windows are clear and not cracked or scratched. This is all original and one of the better examples I have had from the brief period before the 417S gets a plastic rear cover as is catalogued as 477.
