Released in March 1961, this was one of the last models to have fixed smooth wheels and most of these were fitted with the later fixed shaped wheels. With such a short period of availability too- just a year before it was withdrawn in 1962 - these are few and far between.
Furthermore, there were a small number produced in a darker shade of red and this is one rare model - dark red, smooth wheels and with original decals and siren and bell. The FIRE stickers and department transfers on the doors are original and in excellent order.
The paintwork is excellent with just a few very minor marks here and there. The silver bumpers and grille are pretty much unmarked but it has only had a light coating at teh factory.
The suspension is sound and the wheels clean with original tyres. The windows are all clean and clear of scratches or cracks.
