Released in March 1961, this was one of the last models to have fixed shaped wheels and most of these were fitted with the later fixed shaped wheels. With such a short period of availability too- just a year before it was withdrawn in 1962 - these are few and far between.
Furthermore, there were a small number produced in a darker shade of red and this is one rare model - dark red, smooth wheels and with an original aerial. The FIRE stickers and department transfers on the doors are original and in excellent order.
The paintwork is excellent with just minor marks to the roof and the raised centre line on the bonnet. The silver bumpers and grille are excellent too.
The suspension is sound and the wheels clean with original tyres. The windows are all clean and clear of scratches or cracks.
