Some models are very worn or damaged but are simply to good to throw away. In these cases I try to bring them back to life and this one is very close to being original. The suspension had failed at the front and back and the windows were cracked. I have replaced the window unit with an original and fixed the suspension so it now sits nicely and looks just great.
The paintwork is all original and excellent. The interior is lovely in cream with red door panels - that's not my mistake and not the poor replacements either but the originals. The gold model was often issued with a cream interior but red door inserts. It would be much better with matching cream but they're much harder to find for some reason.
All in all this represents great value and if you need a gold edition this will fill that space beautifully.
