A good example of the popular model which was sold either individually or with six cars in Gift Sets 41 / 48.
This has a cab which lifts to show a detailed engine and wheels on the front of the trailer unit come down when it is decoupled.
The red paintwork is good bit some wear is evident on the rear of the roof where one horn is also missing. One mirror is missing. The silver paint and chassis are excellent.
The trailer unit is very good with complete and undamaged transfers on each side. There are very minor chips on leading edges. The top deck folds down as it should but the chocks are missing. Replacements can be easily fitted, being just plastic. The rear ramp is original and has the correct stickers which are also in very good condition still. It doesn't quite lie flat when dropped down but I can see no obvious fault.
All the wheels and tyres are excellent and original and this makes a fine model to display (especially if you have the correct six models to add to it!) I have the correct six and have advertised this with them as a complete set but at the moment it is also for sale individually at a very low price, being surplus to requirements.
