This is a totally original late issue of the Avengers Gift Set. It features the red Bentley with silver and gold wheels, a white Lotus Elan S2 with cast wheels, original Steed and Mrs Peel characters and just the umbrellas are replacements. All these items are in an original box and tray too.
The Bentley is mint, with no chips that I have detected. There are almost always chips on the mudguard at the side. It has two very bright gold wheels too! The Lotus has only the tiniest of dot marks and has good suspension too and no marks to the screen. It is a very scarce variant with cast wheels which were only fitted at the very end of the production period.
The outer box is complete with all flaps in place. There are signs of age and it has become a little soft but still retains its shape. There is no graffiti but one mark from a pen. The tray has signs of wear where models and Mrs Peel have been placed and moved over time but it is still intact and, of course, looks fine with the cars in place. It has both semi-circular flaps which are often missing. (In the photos I have used a large paper clip to keep the rear vertical but there is no actual damage to this section.)
Both characters are originals.
A rare opportunity to obtain a complete original set, particularly featuring the scarce Lotus.
