The price for a set in an original box is quite extraordinary, regularly achieving around £1500 as and when they appear, even with less than mint models inside! This is much less expensive because one of the models is worn and the box is a reproduction - but on display it is still quite presentable as you can see.
The Mini is hard to find these days but this one is all original apart from replacement RN decals. It has clear signs of being played with but the jewels are all present, the sump guard is still there and the windows are free from cracks.
The Rover is excellent and all original and untouched. It may have very minor marks but not easy to see - a beautiful example.
The Citroen is almost impossible to track down now with an original and undamaged aerial unless you are prepared to pay very high sums indeed. This is a new Corgi Model Club re-issue, virtually identical to the original #323. I will supply its Club reproduction box too and a Certificate of Authenticity should you wish to exchange it for an original at some point. On display few people would notice the difference.
If you have a space where this set should be displayed then this is a very good opportunity to get one that does have real Corgis, at a very reasonable price.
The box is a pretty a good reproduction, maybe with slightly darker blue colour for the outer but it does display the models well and is clean and, from a distance, just like the real thing. the inner tray is particularly good.
