You'll have to pay £1500 or more for this set in an original box so here is a much more reasonable option.
This is one of three sets I have available and features the three original cars in a nice reproduction box and tray.
The 321 Mini-Cooper has signs of playwear as the photos show but has no touch-ins or repainted bits. It is totally original with good suspension, nice red paintwork and all five jewels are in place and original. The windows are free of cracks and clean. It has replacement RN52 decals in the correct font on the doors, originals on the bonnet and boot.
The 322 Rover is very good indeed. The paintwork is all very good with just a few chips but the deep maroon looks excellent. The roof has not been repainted and has a small mark or two. The windows are all very nice, clean and clear and even the rear window has no sign of cracks or stress as is common at the juncture of the trans-o-lite system. The suspension and wheels and bonnet and boot decals are all excellent. It has original decals throughout.
The 323 Citroën is in poor condition but all original and has an original aerial. It is hard to find examples with an original aerial. The paintwork, however, has been covered at some point with some sort of varnish and an attempt made to remove that. It may be worth restoring the Citroen but I'll leave that to a new owner to decide as true originals are scarce.
The box is fresh-looking and makes a good display.
