You'll have to pay £1500 or more for this set in an original box so here is a much more reasonable option.
This is one of two sets I have available and features the three original cars in a nice reproduction box and tray.
The 321 Mini-Cooper has very few signs of playwear as the photos show and I think it has had a repainted white roof, although this may be original but it does look very clean. It is, however, otherwise totally original with good suspension, nice red paintwork and all five jewels are in place and original. The windows are free of cracks and clean but teh driver's window appears to have some scuff marks. It has replacement RN52 decals. At some point I shall change these for the correct font but at present this is sold as it stands.
The 322 Rover is very good. The paintwork is all very good with just a few chips but generally the deep maroon looks excellent. The roof looks original and has not been repainted. The windows are all very nice, clean and clear and even the rear window has no sign of cracks or stress as is common at the juncture of the trans-o-lite system. The suspension and wheels and bonnet and boot decals are all excellent. It has had one decal with an incorrect font added to one door. the other one is original. I will replace the incorrect one when I find one but, for now, the set is sold as it stands.
The 323 Citroën is very hard to find with an original aerial so I have completed the set with the remarkably fine copy made by the Corgi Model Club. There are some minor differences in the type of plastic used for the aerial and the jewelled fog lights but otherwise this is a superb copy and looks particularly good in this setting. I will supply the Corgi Model Club box and certificate with this as well so that, should you find a good original then you will be able to sell the copy - or let me know and I will buy it back.
