This set comprises the first 55 Fordson Tractor with the first 56 model plough and was only available for a short period between late 1961 and 1963 when each component was replaced by a later tractor and later plough, the latter in blue and much simplified.
The Plough in this set would only fit on the Fordson and was accurate but quite awkward to affix. The tractor is beautifully detailed.
Both the plough and tractor are in excellent and all original condition with very few marks that I can see to the paintwork and with complete and clean plastic elements n the plough. The tractor is a later edition with pale orange plastic wheels. The steering mechanism works well and there is an original exhaust in place, quite unusual to find these days.
There is also an earlier edition with orange metal wheels available.
