This is one of the very last production runs of the Daktari Gift Set 7, featuring a Land Rover with Whizzwheels and in a late 'rainbow' style box.
It is now complete - the stethoscope and glasses have now been added and the first photo shows these - and includes Dr Marsh and Paula Tracy, Judy the chimp and Clarence the lion, together with a tiger on the bonnet of the Land Rover.
The Land Rover is in excellent condition and I am sure it has never been played with.
The original box is in very good condition, with unbroken cellophane and just a small surface tear and a little wear at the flap edges. Originally there would have been a plastic bubble to separate the characters from the vehicle but that has been lost. (I will pack the Land Rover and characters separately to the box to avoid damage in transit).
Clarence's glasses are replacements and, although pretty much indistinguishable from the originals, you may need a little adhesive to secure them in place. I can do this for you if requested but otherwise I will supply them separately to avoid them coming off and getting lost.
I have several Daktari sets available, in varying stages of completeness and covering the range of different Land Rover issues included over the years. While I search for original missing parts, as reproduction parts can be obtained quite easily and are mostly very close to the originals in appearance, should you require any set to be made complete with such parts then I can do so at an additional charge. Get in touch should you wish to consider this.
