A little car that had no opening doors or special features and consequently didn’t sell terribly well. Also few people in Britain had ever heard of NSU in 1965.
Add to that a strange metallic brick-red shade and you have a car that is going to sit on shelves and not sell in huge quantities at the time. It is now quite a hard variation to find.
The windows are lovely and clean and clear and the wheels are good with good tyres and excellent suspension.
The paintwork shows almost no signs of playwear - all original and very attractive.
It has a nice clean box which is in very good condition apart from one inner flap missing. there is a pencilled 3/9 price at one end. This is missing from many collections as not everyone realises there were the two very distinct colours.
This can also be found in a more common mid pink-cerise shade which is somewhat brighter.
