This was one of two models introduced by Corgi and sold at a low price to encourage children to start collecting. This and the NSU Sport Prinz were simple models with just suspension and an interior but no special features.
The Simca was available in this silver plate finish and a scarce deep metallic blue, both with a transfer stripe decal and RN8.
This example has seen plenty of play over the years but has good suspension and the windows are good apart from a scratch on the rear window. The wheels and original tyres are excellent and the base looks just like new.
This also has a very fresh-looking original box with nice colours and totally original, but unfortunately missing the flaps at one end. It can still look excellent on display and these original boxes in any condition are not easy to find. Indeed, repair is quite simple should the flaps become available one day.
