The Renault 16 first appeared, strangely enough, as Gift Set 13 with a headboard, camera mounted on top and a cyclist. Here is its second appearance, on its own, with a tailgate and no cyclists or cameras. Finished in a lovely metallic deep red, it looks lovely with the shiny chrome and bright yellow interior.
This model was not around for long, being replaced shortly after issue by the Whizzwheels edition in blue. Despite the short production period, there are two types of base - one with REANULT 16 and this one with RENAULT 16TS. There is also a small difference in colour of the 'ring' in the rear hook attachment. On the later models with TS it is silver. Earlier models have red 'ring'.
This is in super condition and all the seats and opening tailgate work well and the suspension is good. A very attractive, and quite scarce model.
