This is the September 1961 revision of the 1958 issue, now with a driver, a stripe and RN7 as well as a fresh coat of bright blue paint.
This is a good example with very little wear to the paintwork. The windscreen has survived and the headlamps are present, with good paint on the silver exhaust and grille. The stripe decal is complete with just some wear showing.
The base is very clean and the tyres original and hardly worn at all. I do wonder how one is supposed to change them on this model but, fortunately, these are all fine.
The model comes with a really very good reproduction box made as a one-off by a colleague in Australia to very high standards and better than the usual suppliers we're familiar with here in the UK.
