There were several versions of this very early racing car. This is one of the scarcest, being red with a silver seat, clear screen and RN1.
This example has some playwear but is really not at all bad with an intact Vanwall transfer. The all-important RN1 transfer is well-worn but still clearly the right one and an original! There are a few nibbles around the windscreen.
The wheels are smooth fixed and have the correct large and small tyres which may well be original.
This is also the edition that has 'VANWALL' running across the width of the base and a different layout of text to later issues.
