This is a scarce item - the Bedford CA Van in AA themed finish and headboard but a MkII edition with shaped wheels.
This was originally issued in 1957 with a split screen and older-style front end and smooth roof, then revised to this casting in 1960. Not many were produced and, right at the end of production, shaped wheels were introduced to replace the smooth type so very few of these final examples are to be found now.
This example has clearly been played with but it is all original and the headboard is undamaged and the paint remains quite fresh and bright. The transfers are also complete and the windows clear.
This will be missing from many collections. I am building my own collection of these models and only sell as and when I manage to find a slightly better example.
