A lovely version of the Corgi model by Auto Pilen.
This is the metallic bronze-red edition and is in really good condition with no faults that I can detect other than some loss of paint on the roof. The screens are clear and clean and are the type with engraved windscreen wipers. The cream interior is clean. The opening doors, bonnet and boot all operate very smoothly.
The wheels and general production quality is excellent too and makes a lovely collectors' item.
These models were made with a base that has screws so repairs and replacement of some elements can be achieved much more simply than with the rivetted Corgis. However, I believe this is entirely original.
