This is a very scarce edition of the long-running #280 model. Finished in metallic gold, this was only issued in small numbers at the very end of production in 1978.
This is an excellent example, as new with its original box bearing a £1.99 price tag which would be consistent with the price at that time.
This has seldom been removed from the box and certainly never played with and appears faultless, with opening doors, bonnet and boot and detailed interior with folding front seats.
I have included a photo taken with a silver Mustang just to show how distinct the colour is, as in some lighting it is not so obvious.
Missing from many collections as these are so hard to find now.
