I have been looking for one of these for a long time. Not just for the photos and stock but my dad had one. His was the Countryman version which had a fully opening rear, the window going up and the boot down. It was also red and the only ones I could find in the shops at the time were blue so my dad bought me that colour and, of course, it got repainted!
This example is totally original and the last M model Corgi made. It was by then not the most popular variant anyway and sales of #216M were pretty poor. All the M models were red with a black roof.
This one has a working motor and nice wheels and base. The windows are clear, not scratched but the paintwork has suffered a bit with quite a bit of loss. However these are hard to find in good condition and they’re getting scarcer too.
