A lovely example of a 1956 launch group model. The Rover 90 was one of the very first issued and has a peculiar charm of its own. Many of these have ugly casting marks, especially at the front but this is remarkably well-finished and quite unusually so.
The paintwork is all original, no touch-ins anywhere. There are two or three very small marks and one more obvious on the rear wing but that's all. The silver paintwork is excellent, apart from a small factory splash on the bonnet edge.
The wheels are shiny and have original Corgi tyres. The windows are clean and free of scratches or damage and the base, whilst showing a few signs of rust, is clean and intact.
This is a fine item and would display beautifully. These are getting scarce now.
